Transcript	Kingston March 27, 1865 Mofes[Moses] Taylor, Esq Dear Sir If it is desirable or policy for our company that is the Lackawanna & Bloomsburg R.R [?Railroad] Co [? Company] to purchase or lease coal lands. There is a tract of about Seventy acres (70) near the Boston Company’s Mines which I have been holding control of for some time for this purpose. Besides this property will control about seventy five acres more if it is secured to us, if it is received with favor by you. I will give all information to Mr. Archbald or any man you may direct to examine the property besides other lands that may be deemed advisable. Truly Yours Samuel Hoyt
